-Texas, don't think they will hang there all year. Other two look real good but only time will tell.

Yea...you're right. After we whip OU we'll probably go to number 1.

While you and your Huskers sit at home and wish they had scheduled Nebraska-Omaha so they could have finished 6-6 to play in the Independence Bowl.

Who even knows who the QB is for Nebraska? I watched the whole game last week and I can't think of his name.

I got no defense for that (kinda like Nebraska).

I'm a HUGE cyclone fan, and very very disappointed that we didn't take out Kansas on Saturday. So close. We were up 20 - 0 at halftime.

I get physically ill around Texas/OU weekend.

It has started.... my bowels are foul
HollywoodAFD
Texas / OU game

One of the worst officiating I've ever seen... on both sides.

First OU TD... not a TD
Roughing on Colt ... Not roughing
Roughing on the punter... Not even close
Interception by OU in the end zone.... called incomplete... horrible call. Clearly he caught the ball.

Who knows how this game would have turned out if the refs were worth a shit.

O-Who !?

Woooooooooot! Hook 'Em Horns Baby ! ! ! ! Ohhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Glad to hear it really was bad. I was listening to the OU broadcast and wasn't sure if it was just the homer announcers bitching or if it was as bad as they were describing. Not sure if I was rooting for OU or UT being a Mizzou fan, but gotta think there will be some kind of letdown factor next week.

that almost made up for nebraska losing. almost.

i am still smiling over misserys loss. oh booger, just couldnt handle the pressure, could you, booger?

I think Mizzou's season is not over. Obviously they will probably need some help to get to the National Championship, but the Big 12 championship is still very alive, just have to take care of business the rest of the way. This week's game is huge, if they can't pull this one off then there's still hope but it will definitely be dissappointing.

I don't understand the hatred for Mizzou, it's not like they have ever won anything, us Mizzou fans are always dissappointed in the end.

After Texas this week, they don't have a tough schedule at all the rest of the way except for KU at Arrowhead, and then (hopefully) the Big 12 championship. It's not the end of the season for sure, but it makes this week's game alot more important.

I never felt this strongly against Mizzou until Chase Daniel arrived. I just absolutely hate him. He seems to me the protypical front running duechebag. (i never know how to spell that).

Hopefully Texas and Alabama can run the table so that some undeserving team like Ohio St. or USC doesn't get it the national title game. The SEC and Big 12 are clearly the top two conferences....and I just know that some team is gonna get screwed big time. I don't think my Tide can run the table, so it'll probably be us.

Do you think that if Bama played USC at neutral site, they'd win?

I think Bama is a better team than USC when completely healthy. Bama doesn't have the depth yet that they need to have. I think our defense could contain the USC offense pretty well and our O-line would be too much for the soft Pac-10 defense. I just don't put any stock whatsoever into USC being able to blow out weak teams that can't tackle.

I agree. Alabama's O and D line would just man-handle USC. Pretty much what they did against my UGA team.

69-0 against Wash St is not impressive AT ALL

I think you're underestimating USC's defense, but thats just my opinion. I'd really like to see this game though. Then maybe the winner could play the winner of Texas - Penn St.

But thats crazy talk.

I don't think Bama would light up the scoreboard on USC or anything...I just think they'd be able to run the ball well enough on them to control the ball for most of the game. I think it'd be a 21-14 type game. Bama's offense does okay against the best defenses in the nations, USC's defense isn't as good as a lot of the SEC defenses.

That is a very innovative scheme you have devised there Suited, what would you call that kind of system for determining a champion? Have any other sports thought of anything like that, or do they vote at the end of the year?

But schools would lose money if they did this and we blah blah blah blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblsahaslkga;skng players are taking finals balksdga blah blah.

Slightly, not as much as you made it seem. I agree they are still only 5th best in Big 12 behind Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St. and Mizzou. Still think they could beat OSU and Mizzou more so than OU and Texas. What that is worth in AP polls is beyond me.

The next 3 weeks are brutal for them, they have Texas then OSU and then go to Oklahoma. That is the definition of tough and we will find out if they are for real or not. I think they lose all three but we'll see.

Texas 28 Oklahoma St. 24, damn good game. Was hoping Texas would lose so all the other 1 loss teams would be back in the mix. I think by season's end there won't be any significant undefeated team though, well I hope not at least. Go Gators!

If Penn St wins tonight, they go undefeated. If Texas wins next week, they go undefeated.

Bama will lose to Florida, if not sooner. I think a 4 team tournament of Florida, USC, Texas, and Penn St/Alabama would be pretty sweet.

To be bad the man wont let that happen.
