This is for serge to put his made up fantasy dreams about elite goalies failing and superstars getting injured.
Please refrain from posting this trash in the Penguins' thread. I added the Sens and Habs too, but it's up to them whether they are sick of your useless posts or not.
Either way, it seems like it'd be good to consolidate this for any time people need a laugh, or in the future to look back and praise serge for how great his picks have been... errr....

Here is an interesting stat for the Pen fans to digest...
The Pens who arguably have the top 2 offensive players in hockey have a total of 25 goals in 10 games..
The Leafs who have been tabbed a team with no first line players have a total of 26 goals in 10 games.
The Leafs are one point behind the Pens, and if it wasnt for the stellar goaltending of Fleury and Sabourin the Pens would be in a worst spot..
Only 10 games yet, but i am liking what is developing.

Which Pens fans have said the SJ game was a good showing? The Sharks smothered us defensively. I don't feel too ashamed of losing to a top 5 team in the NHL.

Zach I have been saying for months the Penguins are a borderline playoff team, which is WAY below what people see them as.
I have also said that the Leafs are a borderline playoff team, which is WAY above what people see them as.
The Penguins are going to go through a tougher part of their schedule with this road trip and its VERY likely that they will be much lower in the standings than you guys think.

The night started out bad as Montreal stole a game from Minnesota in a game where Minny went 0-10 on the PP..Price played amazing
Ottawa won as well over a pretty flat Florida team.
The best game of the night for me was watching the Penguins play..They came out ridicolous in the first and took like 13 minutes to get a shot on goal.
They manage to score a PP goal on a very lucky bounce off the boards and were outplayed in yet another road game.
As I have predicted all summer and early season , this team just doesnt generate much 5-5 offense especially without Malkin and Crosby.
The Penguinos will tell you but Serge Malkin got 10 shots on goal last night, but they are the same ones that say Shots on Goal are meaningless when it comes to the Leafs dominating every game SOG.....
The kicker last night was the injury to Crosby. Yet again I want to point out I predicted Crosby would miss significant time throughout his career due to injuries, and it looks like he suffered and undisclosed injury last night.
I want to stress that I dont want one of the games top players too miss playing time, however for me financially if Crosby misses significant time I just dont see how this team makes the playoffs.
With an improved Tampa team who is getting better game by game, and the hard working Leafs in Toronto we may see the Penguins fall out of the playoff race sooner than later...

bottom line is the Penguins are EXACTLY as i predicted they would be...An average team if they get good years out of Malkin,Crosby and Fleury..If not a bad team.

Almost a perfect night for me as per this thread.
Leafs another solid game, with lots of goals and points from my "prop" players.
We are officially in a playoff spot and it looks good
Habs not only lose but get shellacked. Its been pretty evident their record hasnt been indicate of their play..They are very inconsistent and had some lucky wins against the Islanders and Columbus in recent games.
Ottawa...Well its tough to keep saying the same things over and over..as they just plain suck.
Pittsburgh another huge lead blown, but manage to pick up the win.
