I'm a big fan of both but probably still would put Curb ahead of it at this point. Please watch it though...I'd be shocked if you didn't enjoy it.

Speedz does. I think.

I don't think it's one of the best shows, but it's one of the shows I enjoy watching the most. If that makes any sense.

Although...there aren't very many good shows out there, so maybe it is one of the best. I don't know.

Maybe my standards aren't very high but I've gained quite a list of shows that I try to watch regularly now. 2 years ago I watched basically nothing but ever since I got a blockbuster by mail subscription I've been watching all the shows I've heard good things about.

Here's my list off the top of my head with new season starting times...

It's Always Sunny... (Sept 18th)
The Shield (started yesterday)
Lost (Early '09)
Amazing Race (Sept. 28th)
The Unit (I'm at least a season behind and I think there's a season currently running)
Prison Break (started Monday)
House (Sept. 16)
24 (Early 09?...I've also heard there's supposed to be a 2 hour special bridging last season to the new season that's supposed to air this fall)
Heroes (Only watched about 1/2 of season 2 but I'll try to get back on track as Season 3 starts Sept. 22nd.)
The Office (Sept. 25th)
Scrubs (Not sure what's going on with it but it's my current blockbuster love)
The Wire (Watched the 1st season and finding the 2nd season through blockbuster is proving very tough)
Curb Your Enthusiasm (Unclear when the next season is going to start but I think I've heard there supposed to be one)
Dirtydutch
As it stands, this is my favorite show.

This show is unbelievably funny.

This show is like Sienfeld intergrated ( I think I'm using roughly the right calculus metaphor). What I mean is, it's written by a generation of writers and comedian's that loved Sienfeld. However, rather than the Seinfeld contempoaries, who focused on the "something about nothing" aspect of the show, the creators of this show were influenced by the "absolutely no moral or ethical merit of the protagonists" aspect of the show.

For the complete lack of morality and ethics of Seinfeld, the subject matters were still incredibly tame by today's standards ( a mere decade later). The writer's of IASP have been completely desensitized w/r/t subject matter, and deal with incredibly fcked up scenerio's in a completely absurd and flippant way. I particularly like the way the show deals with race ( off the top of my head, the scene where Charlie and Dee are in the hood, during the vigilante episode, and decide to go ask someone for directions, bypassing the completely friendly and safe looking elderly black man in favor of the homeless and scary white person).

I see signs of trouble in the direction of the show at the end of the third section, but there is so much insanely funny stuff.

Easily one of the best, if not the best, show on TV right now.....
