If you haven't heard of brian regan, take this opportunity to see one of the best comics of all time. I'm a huge fan of stand up and this guy isn't just one of my favorites, he's one of the people at the top of a ton of other comics' lists.

I fully agree. I remember back in the early days of Comedy Central where they would do little 5 minute clips of different stand up acts and I could watch his over and over. Hilarious!

He did a bit on Letterman about the inventor of the iron and ironing board at the patent office that was hilarious.

The weird thing about him is that even if you know the punchline, it is still hilarious.

Just rewatched "standing up" on comedy central. Really funny stuff. I really like the way his eyes are so shifty all the time, he always has a huge grin, and really is a good entertainer.

We see him every time he comes thru town. Great show. "Clean" too if that matters to you.

I went to see him when he was just starting out. Put it this way, I don't think I was old enough to get into the local Comedy Corner. I was under 21, but over 18. I got in, it was funny. His brother opened I believe. I'm 36 now.
The "you too" bit was great.
His little leaguer bit with the snow cone bit was good
driving on 95 in a "jiffy pop car" was solid.
and yes, clean

I've watched about 6 or 7 youtubes of him since this thread. hasn't quite done it for me, he seems really intelligent but not my sort of comedy really. I laughed out loud a few times but cringed a lot too.

first twenty minutes were so-so. rest was pretty good.
me not remembering much of it is somewhat telling. I'd watch it again, though

Wow this was one of the best sets I've seen in a while, was laughing almost the entire time. I still prefer tosh slightly but it's pretty damn close and I'm very impressed by the stability of Regan's bits. I laughed really hard when the fan yelled out that the big yellow one is the sun!

I was out playing pool with a friend of mine ... nine ball for $5 / game. Drank a six pack of Shiner boch each and I ended up winning $20 bucks. Then I get home and mix a tall glass of Absolut and Sunny D. Take a few sips and turn on Comedy Central and just started laughing my ass off. The guy is funny. After about 5 minutes I passed out on the couch and don't remember anything else ... although i did wake up in my own bed with the TV off so I guess I turned it off at some point.
