I am starting to get a bit more serious after managing to play a lot more patient and tight and therefore turn myself into a winning player over the last 3 months (gone from down $700 between Sep 07 and Jun 08 to a $700 profit as of today).

I have seen that many good online players use tracking software etc.

I have always kept notes on players that I have played frequently but info on those I see only rarely would also be helpful.

Can someone recommend a tracking program that is suitable for use with UltimateBet?

Having looked around many seem to use combined data (so not just the hands I see but those of anyone who uses the software) is this standard?

Any advice on tools to help improve my cash management would also be a benefit.

Thanks in advance...

i dont know of any software that data mines or combines data bases from different users on a large scale. . All of the major sites ban software that tracks more than a minimal number of hands that can be used for table selection. And why wouldnt you want combined data if it existed? The more info the better.

I still think PokerTracker is best. PokerEV has been extremely slow to roll out their beta, and I hate the interface. PokerOffice has its fans.

PokerTracker3 has a free 60day trial - i've been using it and it's very good, that said Holdem Manager (HEM) does seem better

I'm currently using PokerOffice, but I'm not in love with it. That being said, it's also good enough to where i haven't ventured to another software.

Hold'em Manager is the best.
Poker Tracker 3 isn't bad though and will likely be the most popular.

Full Tilt allows datamining tables where you're not playing. Stars allows only a few hands.
