I need some input on the following hand please. Sorry, I don't have a hand history.

PL .10/.25

Me ($12)(in the cutoff): 9h 9d

Folds around to me. I raise the pot to .85
Button ($25) re-raises to $2.25
SB folds
BB folds

Me ???

With $12 I'd just fold there unless he's particularly LAG. If you had $25 I'd probably call.

I hadn't really paid attention to how he played, so I don't know if he was LAG or not.

Unless you hit a set i don't think you can continue post flop.. and since your only about 50bb deeps you don't have the odds to make the call

Well, I was hoping to get a few more responses to this, but maybe it's kind of slow on here today. To be honest, I was hoping to get anyone to defend my call, but the only responses have been that i should have folded. Okay; I will concede that it was a bad call.

Results:

I called his reraise.

I flopped Quads. We got it all in.

He had AA, and to make him even more mad he hit his Ace on the river to give him a full house and then he still lost.

He proceeded to curse me for 15 minutes after that; telling me how much of an idiot I was and that i should have easily laid down 9-9 in that spot.

Maybe he was right. Poker is a game we learn from every day.

he was right. If you were playing full stax the math is good for you to call there, w/ half a stack and getting 1/6 of it in pre dominated like that, you're losing money in the long run.

you can mute villians chat also.
