Bodog 2/3 NLHE (6-handed)

Cobalt $312
MP $497

Cobalt is UTG w/ 5s.gif 5h.gif. Only been at the table for an orbit or two. MP appears loose and donkish so far. I may also appear loose to this point. We tangled in my first hand at the table when he limped UTG w/ QQ, it got limped four ways, I flopped top pair decent kicker on a low board from the BB and bet. He min-raised that bet and checked the ace turn behind before putting in a value bet on the river, which I paid off.

Pre-flop:
Cobalt raises to $11, MP calls, 4 folds

Flop ($27): 8c.gif 5c.gif 3d.gif (2 players)
Cobalt bets $18, MP calls

Turn ($63): 9c.gif (2 players)
Cobalt bets $42, MP raises to $84, Cobalt calls

River ($231): qc.gif (2 players)
Cobalt checks, MP bets $80, Cobalt folds

I guess the pertinent question is on the turn...does anyone prefer to just shove there or c/r?

I think from previous hand he has shown when he minraises he likes his hand and is going with it, to me that indicates he has you on the turn.
Syous
i play the same, except I never call that river

So, you play it the same? icon_dance.gif

I like a c/r on the turn.
Syous
haha didn't see he folded

i don't like c/ring the turn. When the flush hits, people tend to freeze up. c/ring here is overrepping our hand, not what we want to do w/a set....

I play it the same, except I bet more on the flop and turn (with my entire betting range).

Funnily enough, this is "me betting more".

And Mike, the only thing I couldn't tell was if he was overplaying something like TcTd on the turn. It seemed plausible.

Possible. Dunno. I doubt he'd dump AA/KK/QQ/JJ with a club.
