I don't like it. Especially since you have $95 on the table. Just pot it. Get a big one going!!!

when i play plo8 i make little raises like this out of the blinds all the time.

i was wondering what some plo players might think about it.

well, i think the button was being pretty funny

i think the tiny raise is pretty pointless oop. in position, it would definitely help juice up the pots you play in position vs the field. i assume you do the tiny raise to get the initiative and occasionally tilt people like me, but i'm unsure how important initiative is vs the whole table oop. especially at low stakes, your opponents are probably just gonna look at the board and their hand and decide if they wanna go with it, same as if they limped in or called a larger bet.

i actually do it to cut their stacks in half. becouse of what i bolded, it makes it easier to stack them. if i wanted initiative i would pot it.

added benefits might also be that it makes me look stupid when if it is stupid it is so only mildly.

if i do enough things like this it can also obscure my PT stats, although im not sure this is a concern with plo and its large player base.

you will get some wiseass doing what the button did a lot if you do this. if he was smart he should pot it with his entire range to try to isolate me oop.

FWIW, in a blind I won't even look at my cards when there is a min raise in front. I will call with anything looking to bust a AAxx KKxx hand.

But I've also started doing it a little myself with medium strength hands, also to mix up my stats a bit. I want my PFR to look a little wider that it really is.
