Here's the top set hand I mentioned in the other thread.

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $0.02 BB (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Button ($4.82)
Hero ($4.83)
BB ($2.71)
UTG ($3.85)
MP ($4.69)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, K, 9, 7.
UTG calls $0.02, MP calls $0.02, Button calls $0.02, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.10) K, 5, Q (5 players)
Hero bets $0.04, BB folds, UTG folds, MP calls $0.04, Button calls $0.04.

Turn: ($0.22) 7 (3 players)
Hero bets $0.22, MP calls $0.22, Button folds.

River: ($0.66) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.66, MP raises to $2.64, Hero ???

Comments on all streets welcome.

Here's what I'm thinking:
1) Not sure what the point of my flop bet was - should have potted there, no?
2) Big mistake was potting the river when the third low card fell since I had no shot at a low myself, not to mention the fact that the river card did complete a remote straight

you either want to play a huge pot with this or a very tiny pot.

i check the flop and try to go for a big checkraise so i can bet the rest of my stack on any turn card.

I play it like anti said.

So I guess that means you'd opt for playing the huge pot? wink.gif

Once you decide you want to play a big pot, you figure out the best way to get as much of your stack in as quickly as possible? And that leads you to check-raising the flop and then pushing the turn?

checky said something good once, i think it was like "when you're out of position you're going for either a walk or a grand slam".

I agree with the big or small strat. Me personally I most likely pot flop pot turn and check call the river when no flush hits

i didn't say that exactly, but the sentiment is right (i usually say "go hard or go home from OOP" smile.gif ). from OOP, you're looking to fold, get it all in as quickly as possible, c/c all streets, or bluff a scare card. i say that in order of preference, and you literally never should do anything else. blocking bets like you used on the end are going to get raised honestly every time by anyone decent unless you're making odd "valuebets" on the end of similar sizes.
