That's gotta be weird for him but apparently it was his idea. He asked Phillips if he could come back.

He was always good for a 5-11 season.

Actually... Campo was a good assistant coach... mostly secondary and some special teams. He just sucked as a head coach.

The good and the bad about that Super Bowl... I've already signed on to work it BUT... not sure if I'll ever get to see any of the game.

I'll be there for 2 weeks.... and it's possible that I may be in an area during the game that I don't get to watch any football.


I was at Super Bowl XXX for the Cowboys/Steelers and actually got to see the entire game.
For Super Bowl XXXI with the Pat's/Packers... I actually got to hold the Lombardi trophey.

I think I've shot my wad and the 2011 Super Bowl is gonna suck for me.

That stadium looks more like a giant football.

It's unreal how messed up the roads around it. It's right next to the Texas Rangers Ballpark and the parking is going to be mad!

Left tackle Flozell Adams and right tackle Marc Colombo are sitting out this morning's practice. They just walked out to the practice fields in shorts and t-shirts.

I say...practice like everyone else... or get fined.

I think Flozell just got flagged for another penalty while walking out to the field.

Haha, but he also only allowed like 4.5 sacks last year. He is one of the best LT's in the NFL, especially considering the pass rushers in his division. Definitely looking forward to this year, I wonder if Kevin will continue our traditional wager...

With the NFC East, everyone beats up on each other. It's amazing though that no matter the talent level of each team, most of the games are close and good. I expect no different this year. I mean let's face it, the Giants were not the best team in the NFC last year but they peaked at the right time and had some good matchups along the way.


He is very good, there is no doubt about that. Imagine how good he would be if he learned the snap count.

Yeah he f'd his knee up last season and wasn't scheduled to be ready til a few games in, but he is wayyyy ahead of schedule and should be starting by game 1 at the latest. I read he had a pick 6 in practice yesterday and it had the whole team excited.

I personally think that 31 other teams are ecstatic that he is back early, lol.

IRVING, Texas - After playing just a few drives in the first two preseason games, it appears the team's starters will get more work Friday when the Cowboys host Houston.

Following a pair of shaky starts for the first-team defense, inside linebacker Bradie James admitted Saturday the Cowboys just weren't ready for the start of the season. Wade Phillips said Monday it's time to address that.

"I think some of it is we don't tackle in practice and you see that in the game," the coach said. "You have to play some to tackle better, so we'll play more this week with our starters."

Got to watch a practice today.... was pretty dang cool.

I have to agree with you on that one.
He doesn't seem to be in charge.

He is definitely a player's coach. It was kinda like when we got Norv from you guys for our head coach. He is absolutely one of the nicest guys ever, but lacked the discipline and control when it came to being a successful (read: playoff winning) head coach.

I kinda prefer the hard-ass coaches like Coughlin if I was playing but I can see how all these mirrionaires would like to have the "easy" coach.
