Was playing on party poker the other day, Playing 1-2NL and .50-1NL. couldnt helpnoticing there are like 10 or so maybe more players on that site who are playing like 10 - 15 tables all at once, yet no delay in their response time. Ive tried playin multi tables and threre is no way that you can play that many tables and not get a little behind on ur play, occasionally getting timed out or sumthin, but nope their response time is probably quicker than mine, and im only playing 1 table. Most of these players being european, but then again its party poker so thats like 80% of their traffic, but im thinking that either their getting some help or its a computer based program running all those tables. Let me know wut u guys think. I mean as far as poker play goes, my decisions are going to affect my winning and losing not what other people are doing. Seems like these guys wait for the nuts before they make a play. They see so many more hands per hour that they will hit AA KK and alot of other big hands per hour than the average guy. When i notice that i just tend to be really cautious with these multi table players, usually when they make a random all in bet, or even a late position 8 times the pot raise, its gonna be one of those hands since they just wanna quickly double up and get paid off. im sure the odds are in their favour if they are doing it on every table. For those who havent noticed that, you are probably in bad shape if you're not disiplined enough to fold qq jj, 1010 preflop. That is exactly the hand they want you to have, sure they might take a bad beat now and then, but they'll still be up in the long run. Sometimes decent players who always find themselves going broke online wonder what edge they're missing, i think there are so many people who try in some way to stack the deck against you, and it totally works if you're not a strong player. I usually get in to the pot in late position with suited connectors or small medium pocket pair if my odds are good and crack them, but eventually you get in to a monster and you still go broke. I had pocket 5's in late position and there were like 6 callers after the palyer under the gun raised it to $8 in 1-2 nl, on the end i call with 55, flop comes down 5,6,9 rainbow. I think im pretty damn strong, although i have to be pretty cautious for 78 or 66 or 99. noone bets and turn comes a Q i still think im good, maybe someone is slow playin a bigger set, and i dont put anyone on 78 so i lead out after its checked to me, i bet the pot almost everyone folds and this one guy who i recognize as a MT player puts me all in, so now im thinking he slowplayed an overpair and put me on the Q that hit the turn, so I call, He turns over pocket 9's, just a sick beat. But those are the hands they play and unless its a monster you genreally wonst see alot of action from them. Anyway that was my $150 lesson, hope it helps someone.
