My line is entirely based on bet sizes. Minraise preflop, let's see what happens. PSB on flop smelled fishy (I was planning on checking it around and calling a non-ace turn), 1/2PSB on turn seemed out of line with the flop bet (and wasn't an ace/danger card), then PSB on the river seemed like he had me on a busted flush draw and wanted me to fold, and since I didn't think he really had anything, it was a nearly insta-call.

I usually play it the same on all streets, although I might 3bet preflop to $5.5 depending on villain's stats.

I think it's probably a fold preflop, though calling isn't really bad. Without reads though, you really should fold turn or river. You need to know what a PSB from the villain means before you can call there. A hand like this is a decent example of why I prefer folding preflop though, ESPECIALLY when you don have any reads on your opponent. Despite the good odds you are receiving, you are OOP with a fairly marginal hand that doesn't flop particularly well unless you flop a flush or trip 8s (even a naked flush draw can be difficult to play OOP).

I'm prob snapping that PF min raise too w/o specific info on villain.
Problem is, what do we do when we catch our K?
We're behind virtually any K that raises from the CO.
I think hands like this depend so much on reads.
I prob do the same as you w/o a read.
But then I realize I played 25% of my stack on the first hand with K8 sooted OOP.
Which is good for our image I guess.
