Villan seemed really fishy. This is a spot where he either has nothing or has me crushed. Mini raise scares the heck out of me since hes not overlly agressive. What do you think?

I think you can expect to see 2 pair or a set. Your basically repping an ace, and min raises are almost always better than top pair, esp when that top pair is an ace that the original raiser bets into on two streets. Without some read where he thinks min raising is a good way to bluff, fold to the turn raise

Your problem here is that you did not have a plan when the turn card came. You bet, and then tried to figure out how to respond. Before you bet the turn, you should know what you are going to do if:

A) He calls and a blank rolls off
cool.gif He calls and a scare card comes off
C) He raises a standard amount
D) He minraises
E) He shoves

Practice developing a plan throughout a hand. Know how you are going to react to his possible actions. You will become a better player. Personally I check back the turn and fire river to get 2 streets of value in. Once he raises the turn, I'm done with the hand. Baluga theorem says you are absolutely crushed here so just fold.
