Villain is laggy PF, but does not seem to step out of line post-flop. I am genuinely at a loos as to what I should do here?

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $4 BB (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($281)
BB ($723.35)
UTG ($194.15)
Hero ($736.90)
Button ($320.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J, T, T, A.
1 fold, Hero raises to $14, Button calls $14, 1 fold, BB calls $10.

Flop: ($44) J, 5, 4 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($44) Q (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $28, Button folds, BB calls $28.

River: ($100) K (2 players)
BB folds. Hero...?

Final Pot: $100

Seriously though, why make that bet on the turn? On the flop you have more fold equity I think, and even if you don't get folds you have a much stronger hand than you do on that turn.

I don't get what the question is.

Hint: It ends with "value" and begins with "bet"

The hand shows 2 players going to the river, and the one guy open-folds.

Usually at that point for me, the site starts dealing the next hand after shipping me the pot.

I suppose you guys forget the power of the open-Farrell...

Yes I skimmed over it. Your opening line here is flawed. There is nothing to do now that he has folded.

this is worth highlighting, imo. what are you trying to rep with your line? AA with clubs? some sort of 2p/draw hand? none of that really makes sense here (since you're betting that kind of flop with all of that), and i think you get raised an icky amount of the time with that weird bet if you're playing good players.

Clearly I wanted to turn my decent holdings (on the flop) into weak holdings by checking and allowing an over card to fall. Once that card came, I decided to bluff my way out of the pickle I got myself into by checking the flop. Of course the miracle river falls... as does my opponent's hand... into the muck. tongue.gif

In truth, it was a simple misjudgement of "I have been continuation betting too much and am uninterested in parlaying this hand into a large pot... Hmm... seems like a good place to check." I stopped playing shortly after this hand after I correctly came to the conclusion that my attention was flagging and I wasn't playing my 'A' game.
