vs. a 91/4 with less than a psb left is there much choice?
BudBundy
I think i have around a PSB and he has more.

Still its worth considering options when a PSB is more than a buyin.

176-52 = 124, pot is 133
BudBundy
OK i was wrong , i had $7 less than the pot.

Does this make it an automatic push?
bdc30
I think I'd rather push instead of giving him a free card.

Ugly ass spot....here's my IM with Brent about this

me: any idea what bud did on that AA2J hand he posted?>
10:31 PM brentclayton: shoved
big stack folded
shorty all in flopped the straight
10:33 PM me: that was such an ugly spot
10:34 PM i actually would have put the big stack more on the range of those cards and shorty with some big cards
10:36 PM brentclayton: if they were deeper i could see myself caring, otherwise, i'm all in'
pot's too big
10:39 PM me: yeah, but he could be drawing to a 1/22 shot pretty often. If i was the big stack I am showing up with those low cards pretty often thinking both shorty and bud have the big pairs
brentclayton: that's assuming a decent player in the bigh stack
the dude's 94/4 or some retardedness?
i'm all in
10:43 PM me: he was 94/4 and up $60 through 113 hands though...he obviously isn't an total idiot
10:48 PM brentclayton: 94/4?
dude's playing any 4
10:53 PM me: obv...but just because he sees a flop with any 4 doesn't mean he is going to play like an idiot post flop
bud obv has AAxx
if 94/4 flop 1p he is getting more than sufficient odds to call bud's flop all in
10:54 PM if he has any more than just 1p bud is in some trouble
even 1p with gutshot
is 50/50 against AAxx there and he is getting 2/1
10:55 PM well..probably slightly less than 50/50, but not even close to 33/66

I don't think a push is horrible, but I would expect to get called quite often.
