Just got back and other than the length, I enjoyed the hell out of this movie. It wasn't Citizen Kane (nor was I expecting that) but the popcorn was fresh, the lemonade was cold and I found myself on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. The critics can suck it.

This was awesome. I thought I had clicked on the Public Enemies thread... and when I saw LT say that the 'critics can suck it'... I was like HUH!? What the hell critics would dislike a Michael Mann movie?! Then I saw LLY and realized I must be in the wrong thread. Whew!

Made me think...I wonder how the original Transformers movie (in the 80s) would do critically. I watched it a while ago and still gives me tears when I see Optimus die. If it got ripped back in the 80s then I'd feel better about going into this movie as well.

Just took one of the kids too it. Pretty much what you expect, the fight scenes however aren't as hard to follow as the ones in the first movie.
I didn't like it. I know it is supposed to be cheesy (I saw the first movie). I was pretty much smirking the entire time. Special effects were great as expected, I just couldn't get past all the cheese. I liked the first movie so I tried my best to ignore all of it, but I couldn't do it.
With all the hype surrounding the jive talking transformers, I was disappointed with them also. The only funny part was when they called Shia's roommate a pussy.
I do wish I could go to a college with as much hot sluts like Shia's college. Even if the hottest chicks are really robots that look like Medusa.
There were like three apocalyptic previews for other movies. WTF I've seen the world almost end thousands of times in movies. Does anyone have an original plot idea?

seriously though. that movie sucked. shia was the man as usual. meg fox was hot. everything else sucked. it tried way to hard to be funny. the plot made no sense. shia was awesome though, YOU GOTTA GIVE ME THAT.

Holy crap was this movie bad. I fell asleep when they got too Egypt I think? I don't know. Why do all the Decepticons look the same in this one? Why is Megatron not a gun? Where is Galvatron? What the hell is going on?
