Hero?

Hero has $13.30 left.

Villian is running 35/14/1.5 over 58 hands and I hadn't seen him do anything retarded. I'm running 24/18/3.6 if anyone is data mining.

Note: I don't usually let my stack drop below max buy-in, but I' just lost the previous pot sad.gif

A lot of draws whiffed and will fold if you bet. I go for a check/call (any amount - if he has kj/kq then more power to him). I can't really put him on a hand that calls a reasonable river bet that we actually beat - two pair combos raise or flat call...I mean, if he'll stack off with K4 then, all right, you can bet, but he probably won't, and we lose a lot of value from busted draws. He might also bet a weird hand like AQ that he thinks may have some value given your check. Either way it looks close - betting allows us to punish those weaker pairs that'd check behind, but on the other hand folds busted draws. Checking allows villain to bet for value only those hands which beat us. But since so many draws missed I think we should try to induce a bluff.

Yeah, I agree with this. I don't really do this enough.

Haaa that's gratifying. I did check, villain bet $3, hero called. Villain showed ad.gif, 10s.gif, for a back door straight. I made loads of notes on him after that. It's really close whether I would have called a shove (probably would have I don't like folding). Thanks guys
