Raising preflop is an option.

You are rarely in a very bad shape here. Push if you don't mind flipping.

We of the FCP forums tend to appreciate advice that is a little more well thought out and presented than this.

I think you just go with it....your hand has so many possibilities. I think safest assumption is since this is an unraised pot that he has a set of 7s or 5s.....or he is getting frisky with top two or a giant draw.

you are in good enough shape no matter what he is to go with it I think.

Just checking in to this forum after my hiatus from PLO and this hand (and advice) reminds me why I quit playing in the first place!

This looks like such a marginal spot to me. Hero has a combination of a whole lot of mediocre hands that don't seem to add up to very much. My biggest concern here is that villain is a tight player and could have something like a set with the nut heart draw. He led for half the pot and then came in with a pot-reraise of villain's raise. I don't know if a tight player would be making this move with a bare set (especially middle or bottom set) on a coordinated board.

Can't always fear the monster under the bed. Assigning a pretty tight range to this guy (namely, KKxx, Axxx with heart draw, or 4 middles) we're stil 50/50. I don't think we can quite put him on THAT narrow a range in a limped pot, so I'm comfortable stuffing it in on this one.
