Far out! Wrong forum NOOB!

I don't think I'd raise that turn and as played I'd check behind on the river. I think he's calling here with any club.

isn't this LHE? should it be in short handed? wtf do i know...
lol
RISEorFall
if its a 6max table it goes in shorthanded

if its a full table that just has 6 players it goes here...i think.

anyway, i cap the flop and dont raise the turn.
ricardob
I wouldn't cap the flop as we may be already beat and would lay it down after that turn. TP/TK kicker on this board with this much agg-I don't like it.

edited cuz im blind... sorry brent.

Are we value betting or bluffing the turn and river here? I can never tell with LHE.

/shrug

ugh, I missed that there were 4 clubs here...

I hate the turn raise. You're right simo, it's more of a bluff than a value bet. Well, a lot more of a bluff.

I think I fold the turn, because I don't expect to ever fold a better hand with a bluff, and I expect villain to have at least a club the way he played the flop, if not a better hand anyways.

Oh thank God. With you saying it's a great line I thought "shit, I plainly have absolutely no idea about LHE at all".

loooool - I wondered what you were talking about saying if the villain had busted clubs. Anyways, in this instance the guy had AJ, no clubs. Why he paid it off I really have no idea. Was one of those hands that somehow worked out but I was left with that "urm, something doesn't seem right here" feeling after it was over. Looking back I still like the turn raise, but against most opponents the river bet is pointless.

Are you bluffing or value betting though? If it's a value raise it's desperately thin imo.

this doesnt make any sense to me at all.
if he's bluffing, let him bluff

if hes not, raising sucks

simo is right, raising/betting the turn or river has almost no value and doesnt give him a chance to bluff at us
