OK, for those interested in the $50 pool... If we get enough people interested, maybe we could do one?

Lets discuss ideas here. Here are a couple of mine.

1) Method of payment should be something universal, rather than shipping on a poker site (for example, you may have all your money on betfair while I have all mine on FTP and only a little on Stars and none on betfair, or vise versa). I think everyone has a paypal account, right? We could all make a paypal payment to a central, trusted, long time member.

2) The number of players.
IMO, 10 is far too few. 20-30 seems about right, with 40+ being just too many. Any consensus on number of players?

3) Scoring. The FCP fantasy league scoring is OK by me.

4) Pay out- assuming that it's going to be 10 guys or so, IMO winner take all is the only way here. But I'd be willing to hear other ideas.

Eh, no, I don't agree with the first point. I think getting someone to hold the money on PokerStars is by far the easiest. If people do have money only on FT, Betfair etc. I'm sure we can arrange some swapping of funds.
Anywhere between 6 and 30 is good for numbers imo
Don't rly mind the scoring system.
Don't rly mind the payout system either

Dont mind however you want to transfer money, i'm in. $50-$100 is fine. Find a trusted member and lets go.

This $50 pool idea isn't getting much love, wsup?
Mr.Benga
We can't use the honesty system on this, someone who everyone trusts must hold the roll for us.

Na, that's not a problem we have had people in the past holding money and everyone gets paid. Thats a minor detail.
AmScray
Yeah, getting someone to hold the $ is a minor point.
We just need to get enough people in to make it worthwhile.

10+ and I'm down... So, count me as 1.
r2daez
count me in as 2

I'd be in if it were on PokerStars only. I don't have any other method and won't bother to set one up.
