People were asking in the other thread about starting a 2nd dynasty league, so I am.

As of now, we have 8 people, and need 4 more for 12.

In this league, you keep every player, every year. It is an every year thing as well, so a big commitment to it is needed.

Rules people do not like will be put up for vote before the draft starts (hopefully mid-July/early August).

The league fee every year will be $57 (the 7 pays for the site).

How do you collect the fees?

I collect fees and pay out on PokerStars. It's easier so I don't have to pay any PayPal fees. If you absolutely can not pay on PS, we can work something out.

Drafting before preseason injuries is scary to me. I may join but need to think about it.

It's a dynasty, so it doesn't matter as much as pre-season injuries go. I drafted in a start up dynasty the beginning of June already this year. Obviously the injuries affect you for that year, but you want to have a team for now and the future.

Also, I want to try and get the draft done before I go on vacation on Aug 27th.

With a 12 hour window for each pick, how long do you anticipate the draft to last???

Last years took 12 days; I guessed it would take about 14 days. Everyone's average time it took to pick was less than 2 hours, which I think is pretty good. It all depends on how often people get on the site during the draft.

You weren't getting SJAX if The order went LT and then AP or vice versa. I can't tell you how happy I was when I locked in the #3 pick instead of #4 because I had those 3 as clear 1, 2, and 3 and I would have been torn on what to do at #4 if that's where I landed. Once LT went 1st, I was literally 100% sure I was getting SJAX...I'm still pinching myself!!!

1st...Last time I checked, Fantasy Football was won w/ RUNNING BACKS and not ghey ash WR's. I also added 3 WR's that will be every bit as competitive as yours. Fitz is a monster, but if Roy Williams ever gets a QB, he will put up points in the same range as Fitz. (SHHHHH...Williams had more point in 2006 than Fitz) But I will GRANT an edge to you there, but Bowe is hardly a monster and Roddy White outscored him by 35 points last year. Did you really throw VINCENT "ISUCKBALLS" JACKSON in this convo? He has only been outscored by Berrian in the last 3 years by totals of 70, 50, and 30 points!!! So for every edge that Fitz may get you at WR, it's negated by the fact my #2 and #3 have been historically MUCH MUCH MUCH better than your #2 and #3. (Sucks that stats never really lie!!!!)

Oh...and not to mention that my WR's are HARDLY MY STRENGTH!!!

Let's look at RB shall we?

ADP has only had 1 year...and it was a monster one at that! I will grant you that Gore is semi underated, but I think anyone would take ADP over Gore. How about #2 RB? Your #2 RB (Ronnie Brown) is coming off an ACL tear and you never know how those guys will perform. My #2 (Reggie Bush) will catch 80 balls this year and score somewhere in the neighborhood of 230-270 points. Your #3 RB is...???? Last I checked every dude you have right now is a BACKUP!!! My #3 Maroney is due to bust out this year, if not my #4 Smith is looking like a beast in Detroit. I also have a pedigree 1st Rounder in Felix Jones to lean on if Barber gets hurt. I also have my best RB's insurance policy in Taylor running behind maybe the best line in the NFL. My top 5 RB's are UNDER 23 years old as well...meaning their best years are ahead of them. If any combination of Maroney, Smith, or Jones becomes a stud #1 RB in the next 2 years...I will have the best stable of RB's BY FAR in the league. So while you lean on 2 RB's with bad knees and injury history, I will take my chances w/ 5 RB's with little injury history (other than ADP..who I have insured) and 4 of those 5 were 1st Round NFL picks in the last 3 years!

But...I mean...U DO have Owen Daniels!!!!!

Tuna Tasters: You have the starting and handcuff RBs for the Niners/Dolphins. Good Luck with that. Nice try trying to take my Broncos backup with Torain..bwahhaaa. Palmer/Rodgers solid at QB. Fitz is awesome and I do hope Bowe has a good season since I have two KC QBs. Better hope they do well since the rest of your receivers will be lucky to catch a cold.

BeefyBoys: Got enough Raiders on your team? Good leading indicator that your team will suck. As for the rest of your team..MY EYES MY EYES

Game: You have two backup Niner QBs.. nice. SJax holding out (can't laugh too much at this since I have him in the other league). At least SJax isn't suspended like Brandon Marshall - looks like he's well on his way to the good citizen award. I have to admit that I do envy your RB stable and the fact that you have the KC RBs covered.

Serge: Three Kickers? Stick to Hockey

Cobras: Looks like the retirement home for NFL players on their last legs.

Chris: Team age is probably 1/2 that of the Cobras. I have a bad feeling about Addai as everytime I watch the Colts, he's being taken off the field.

Maulers: I have a man-crush on Adam so I can't rip on him too badly. A lot will depend on Favre/Cardinals QBs and the two RW's in your receiving corp as your RBs are scary.

Yoda: I've asked a guest reviewer by the name of WrongWay to critique your team. He says "You're going down"

Dev: Opposite of the Maulers: Strong QB/WR and relying on a couple of "experienced" (e.g. ready to break down at any moment in time) RBs in Taylor/Lewis.

Commish: Drafted with an eye to the future. Notice the 10 "R's" on his roster

Nucks: If you guys didn't know, Nucks won the Dynasty 1 league last year (we still don't know how and don't know how Flying Donkey didn't even make the playoffs despite having the highest point total). Looking at his team in this league, just enjoy last year Nucks.

Yes I picked 3 kickers..so what ..

we have 26 players we drafted and only 9 will start...I guarantee i will win at least two games this year because of superior kicking. i will have the luxury of having favourable matchups.

I want to bet you on this. $20 on ps... if you win three games by the margin of your starting kicker and your lowest scoring kicker on your bench. If you want to only bet on you doing it in two games, then I will go $10... because it's too common to have close games by coincidence.

Fun prop bet - but I think the bet needs to be the difference his starting kicker outscores his highest scoring kicker on the bench. Too many variables otherwise - injuries, bye weeks, etc. And if his kicker selection is so superior it shouldn't matter.

He would also have to continue to carry 3 starting kickers on his roster for the bet to remain valid. Or else it's obv to drop 1 kicker off his roster for the bet.

I still think there is a lot of room for coincidence since we've seen games decided by like .3 in the past. But I don't think he will win a lot of games anyway so that probably makes up for the coincidence factor.

I offered him a $10 kicker prop bet too but he ignored me. He picks his top 5 kickers - and I get the top 5 scoring kickers NOT selected by him. Higher point total wins. I believe he would be unable to pick a winning kicker team.

Problem is, you would need to win 2 games...

I know that my team seems like it is Raiders heavy, but really I just have the #1 RB and #1 QB from the team and then some backups. Also, did anyone see the Raiders preseason game tonight.

In summary, I'm not sad that I have Darren McFadden and JaMarcus Russell.
