Fabrice De Kimpe
Hi,

I was wondering if someone knew about good strategic books on Badugi.

It's hard to find information about the more exotic poker-variations.

Thx

math, it's like the key to everything.
Fabrice De Kimpe
As mentionned earlier, it's strategic advice i'm looking for.

I can make the tables with odd-percentages myself.

It's the do's and don't i'm curious about.

game theory?
Fabrice De Kimpe
Idd.

I've looked on 2+2 but i only found a book on draw poker games.
It's quite general i guess.

no need to be rude avs.

i've seen a few threads about it in the other games forum on 2+2. you might want to do a search there and through the 2+2 archives.

Thx Antistuff,

I'll go through the 2+2 archives

assuming you're learning the game in a full ring setting, here are some general things to note:

1. start with two to a wheel, raising 3 to a 7 or better.
2. snow literally every time on the end (pat and bet after the final draw) no matter what you have until you get your bluffs picked off a couple times, assuming your opponent is still drawing.
3. if your opponent is pat, do not draw on the final draw unless the pot is ginormous. it's often correct to fold when drawing one on the end, even if it's to a wheel (just remember to count your outs properly)
4. profit.
