I had 5 cancel last minute from a "friendly" home game I've got scheduled for Sat 5/17 at 7pm.

$25 B w/ 2 $15 RB

I need 3-5 more players.

Again, family and friends so no ringers or sloppy drunks please.

Agreed. I sympathize with the OP in that when you want to play it sucks when people cancel (the beautiful thing abut having a card room 3 miles away). But if this is a single table game then half just canceled - do they know something we don't?

And good luck getting players that you don't know yet to come over for a "friendly" game.

I had it set up for two tables . . . 8 and 8

That's about as many as I can manage in my space.

Just an odd number now. I've exhausted my normal list just thought if there were any area folks reading here I might find a player or two make a good two tables.

No tricks. Just a home game getting awkward.

I do have card rooms/casinos close, but won't go trolling. Not that desperate.

Worst comes to worst I'll manage the seats I have.

I'm concluding this wasn't the best of ideas.

I play reg w/ "players" at the casino/cardroom and I've got my daughter and other family and friends over for this game I didn't necessarily want a houseful of ringers scalping them.
