Why not bet/fold the turn? I think that is the right move here
Berwatchey
yeah obviously you underbet the flop. bubble_duh.gif

but as played you should have made a real bet on the turn(2/3 pot or whatever).

with a real bet you likely would have gotten pushed all in by the fella with a q. then you'd of had to evaluate whether they really were drawing.

i take it back. as played check fold the turn you werent raised when you led 200 so it really looks like theres at least 1 person drawing. so betting the turn is bad i think now....i dunno for sure.... icon_frown.gif

next time just bet the flop so i dont have to thgink so hard while i'm at work

There is 1665 in the pot, hero has about 1500 behind. Any reasonable lead is pot committing, so bet/fold is terrible.

You misread stacks... hero starts w/ ~5k on this hand. I definitely call the turn and hope to get a cheap showdown as played.

Definitely bet more on flop... If called I don't think I check/fold turn, but action will be different if you actually bet correctly on the flop.

Yup I totally screwed up reading the HH.I agree with calling and reevaluating, but folding to a big river bet unless you boat up.
