Preflop is probably questionable, but I'm getting great odds and implied odds. If I hit a big hand this table is paying me off. So how's the rest? Pretty cut I missed everything, but did I play it right?

I don't know if I bet the turn. If all twelve outs are good you have about 25% equity. Either everyone has to fold, either now or on the river, or at least three players have to call all bets on this street, to make the lead bet profitable. If you bet and the player to your left raises, and everyone else folds, you have to put in two bets here HU.

You're definitely semibluffing, and the conditions that make semibluffing profitable don't apply here. You have little to no chance of winning the pot with your bet, and the only hand you actually want to fold (assuming no one is folding the winning hand here when we bet) is Qx icon_suit_club.gif .

I'd actually plan to check and either call or raise, depending on where the bet comes from and how many opponenents call. if it checks around, you get to see the river for free, which is damn sexy when you buy a free card in first position on the flop.

I donk the flop due to our relative position, but besides that I play it the same. I think we get enough callers on the turn to make the bet profitable.

that was my first thought.
But I could see concern that with the AK flopping and the pfr yet to act, that we get a lot of unwanted folds instead of calls in between.

I'm cool with the turn bet because the pot is big and thus you'll get a lot of calls, and I would not think a raise is likely - with this card

meh, is there a risk of this flop checking through?
Roo6339
Not on this table with those high cards out there.

low frequency with high severity

good pt, probably persuades me to lead.
We have lots of players and we only need a couple callers

eta: but of course we want amap, this isnt a hand where folds or calls are both great
Zach6668
Yeah, but how often do these guys "check to the raiser" with their top pairs, etc, and MP3 checks his QQ behind?
Roo6339
That's true. Leading is probably better here.

not as often as he bets it "for information" or "to see where he is"
Zach6668
Yeah, but even then, we're in such a crappy relative position.

I'd still rather donk here and just not take any chances, imho.
RISEorFall
i probably donk it as well, hoping to get a 3-bet in
just saying, i doubt he usually checks this flop

nonetheless, you agree if it checks thru 1/9 times, that it blows.

Do you think we get more bets in waiting for a late pos bet to c/r?

(I missed the last exchange before I responded, carry on)

preflop is most certainly not questionable, a fold there would be terrible.

i definitely think leading this flop is better. you got lucky that it went down the way it did.

i check the turn.
