i knew exactly what this was as soon as i saw the thread title. my best friend is swedish and his cousins turned him on to this a long time ago.

here's a picture of me in my "gunther phase" at 21 in about 2003 or so. though it's kind of hard to see i had the stash too.



i think i'm smiling in that stupid way cause i'd been taking adderall for 16 hours.

there can be a "gunther phase"? now I need to know more about this. with a stache that sweet, I can see myself getting into a "guther phase" too. please explain.

notice how gunther looks and dresses, and imagine how he treats women. jump upon every opportunity in your live to copy him. what's that? you gotta get dressed for work? how would gunther dress to sit at a desk for seven hours?

when two ladies want to go to bed with you simultaneously, do it, as it's what gunther would do. and don't forget, you're in your gunther phase. you can apologize for it later, but for now, make sure both girls get attention or one will get jealous and pissed and ruin the good time.

I will consider this post to be the beginning of my gunther phase. after googling him, I know this is how I must live my life.

it was just the way i happened to look at the time. when my friend showed it to me i already had a mullet, a moustache, etc.

the mustache is back but i fear i'm getting a bit too old for the mullet.

I've always wanted to cultivate some sort of ridiculous look, preferably including a mullet and/or a mustache, but I've always had a job that frowns upon looking "different." maybe I should say "screw the man, I'm Gunther! you cannot hinder my spectacular facial hair!" yeah, thats what I'll say.

My high school soccer coach was a Gunther, I am now picturing him singing this. Not really a good thing.

My husband did full-on muttonchops for about a year. Got madly complimented by every teenage goth/punk boy we saw. Loved them until the day after he shaved them off -- now thinks of them as some strange sort of spell one falls under, thinking they look good until the moment they're gone and you realize they never did.

UPDATE: Good news, Just ordered a gunther t-shirt from gunthernet. I will post pictures when it arrives.
