I think this is standard and I would call a river raise.

I think I play it the same, but I know what you mean by not knowing if this is good or bad.

We have a marginal made hand with a gutshot, but we are so easy to draw out on here and the pot is small. If we're up against a flush draw and overs we have to dodge a ton of cards. If we're up against any medium pocket pairs we're behind with up to 9 outs. I suppose we have redraws if someone hits an over on the river. We obviously fold to action on a third diamond.

Ok, now that I thought all that through, I like the line.

This worries me as well.

Do we ever fold a better hand on the river? 88, 77?

a c/r in the other hand usually means a straight. b/c of pot size, like you mentioned, i might b/c, but i think were almost always beat

this is a much different river card. a 9 doesn't make much sense in this hand after the flop.
this oesd makes much more sense in the other hand.
