Really bizarre story out of Indianapolis where a professional athlete was arrested…wait for it...in a night club parking lot! Of course! Where else would it go down?!
Indianapolis Colts’ running back Kenton Keith is the latest jock to get “popped” for “refusing to leave” the premises. I’ll never understand this. I’ve been to a few clubs, but when they close…I’m looking to “bounce”. The last thing I want to do is kick it in the parking lot. Furthermore, when I see a cop, unless he stops to talk to me, I keep moving. The one thing I don’t do is stay when he tells me to leave. The other thing I don’t do is start rolling video on him with my cell phone the way Keith did. What were you going with that “K”?! Were you going to sell the video of you getting arrested to TMZ? The other thing I never do is play the “do you know who I am” card, something else Keith did!
If you have to ask, they obviously don’t! Or they do, and they don’t care! But that didn’t stop him from saying several times, “I’m a Colts player! I’m a Colts player.” Yeah, but barely! You’re also a former Saskatchewan Roughriders player. Check yourself! You’re on the verge of blowing a great thing. A former CFL’er who got a shot in the NFL, who gets to line up next to Peyton Manning…do you really want to screw that up? You play 10-15 snaps a game, don’t take a lot of hits, take a few swing passes, break a few draw plays, maybe pick up a blitz or two and collect playoff bonuses every year!
Look, Kenton Keith made a few plays last year…you “fantasy degenerates” know that. And he’s a nice change of pace guy for Joseph Addai…but not that nice! Not nice enough to stay in the parking lot when the cops tell him to leave, video tape them and ask them if they “know who he is”?! And to all the jocks who think its “jacked-up” for me to burn on things like this…as soon as you stop doing it, I’ll stop talking about it.
