How the hell did the Giants get such an easy schedule in the first half?!?!? Hell... they could EASILY go 8-0, although the 8th game will probably be the hardest. If the Steelers or Browns don't beat them, no one will.... until week 9.
How do the Browns get 3 Monday night games and the Cowboys & Patriots only get one?
Also, what the hell did the Steelers do to be hated so much by the front office.
In addition to their "probably tough this year" division they have to play the following teams:
Eagles, Jaguars, Colts, Chargers, Patriots, Redskins, Giants, and Cowboys
That's pretty ridiculous.

HAHAHAHAHHA..... I just found this article...
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor...&id=3348129gg Steelers.
The Patriots, for example, play one of the 10 easiest schedules in NFL history, a .387 magic-carpet ride that should allow them to win at least 14 games in 2008. Only five times do they face a team that finished 2007 with a .500-or-better record. The Patriots and teams in the AFC East play the NFC West and the AFC West, divisions that produced only two winning teams and six other teams with combined records of 31-65.
WTF?

There is a formula the NFL uses for the schedule. The only flexibility they have is when and where the teams play. They have no say in who plays whom. From wiki:
Currently, each team's 16-game regular season schedule is set using a pre-determined formula:
Each team plays the other three teams in their division twice: once at home, and once on the road (six games).
Each team plays the four teams from another division within its own conference once on a rotating three-year cycle: two at home, and two on the road (four games).
Each team plays the four teams from a division in the other conference once on a rotating four-year cycle: two at home, and two on the road (four games).
Each team plays once against the other teams in its conference that finished in the same place in their own divisions as themselves, not counting the division they were already scheduled to play: one at home, one on the road (two games).

Exactly. The Pats ended up with an easy schedule just because they happened to be facing the AFC/NFC West this year and because the AFC East is weak if your team isn't named the New England Patriots. Same goes for the Steelers' tough schedule, just so happens they're matched up against other tough divisions this year - if all those teams even play at the same caliber they did last year.

I love Thanksgiving Day because the Cowboys always play, although they don't always come to play.
