I have been playing at this table for a while now, playing reasonably tight and aggressive. The villian has been playing tight aggressive as well.

My read on the flop was the villian was on a draw after my raise was called fairly quickly. Now after facing a shove on the river should i be calling here or is folding more profitable longterm?

agreed. i have seen alot of players at the lower limit try and do these min donk bets with their draws to try and keep it cheap. he hit his flush on the river and its a must fold

How much of a RR on the turn would be more appropriate?

Totally agree.

Basically you did everything correct on the turn. You gave him bad odds to draw.

But considering the stack sizes calling 3:1 on his draw is maybe only a slight technical mistake here for villain as he is being given good implied odds.
Hero just needs to call another 3$+ bet and villain is playing profitable.

-> Ask yourself...

There is 18 $ in the Pot on the given river. Would you fold here for 4$?

If I want to play my two pair I push them harder here. If I get called and shoved I have an easy descision.

I am wondering what the High Stakes players would do here assuming villain is drawing against

a.) a fishy villain
b.) a competent player
