I just finished the remake "Day Of The Dead" and the movie just... finished me. It was bad, I'd give it 4/10 rating. I can't wait to see "Diary Of The Dead" and I'm sure it's going to be much, much better!

What is your last movie you watched? Share some thoughts on the movie, too.

Diary of the Dead was pretty interesting. Worth seeing if you're into zombie movies.

The last movie I saw was, unfortunately, the Grand (no, I didn't win the giveaway).

It was mildly funny at times, but for the most part it was slow and boring. The best part by far was having legendary film maker Werner Herzog play "The German." He was hilarious but was underused. David Cross and Chris Parnell, as usual, were funny as well.

Once

Indy movie set in Dublin.

Broke independent box office records. Won oscar for best Song

The two actors are musicians who have never acted before(edit: I forgot Glen Hansard was Outspan in The committments), they both wrote all the songs for the soundtrack except for one. The Irish guy is a well known musician but nowhere near a superstar.
Love story/musical not my thing but highly recommend it

May well be the best music film of our generation- Tribune

Last movie I watched was Under Siege (Steven Segal).

I was bored at work and it was available for online viewing with my Netflix, so there ya go. Not a terrible movie, unlike practically everything he's made since.
Swift_Psycho
Big Fish

I'm not much for Tim Burton films, but I really like this one. Strong acting cast and just really entertaining overall.

Erica Eleniak, topless, iirc. Would watch again.

I just watched TWBB. Kinda disappointed in it, really.

Charlie Wilson's War.

Better than I expected/pleasantly surprised.

Yup, she's fun to look at, although that's exactly the only thing she really adds to the movie. Otherwise there's really no reason for her to be in it at all.

She was naked a lot in Chasers too, another surprisingly decent B action movie.

Haven't seen TWBB yet, although it's on my Netflix list.

Major League II. Good as it ever was.

Flash Gordon. Lol at this movie, and the Queen soundtrack.

Both are very similar, so just watch one and imagine different actors

Watched August Rush the other night and thought it was great. A little sappy and predictable but a good flick.

Dan in Real Life was the last one I saw. I found it very funny and entertaining.

No Country For Old Men in the theaters, but I watched the Bourne Identity recently.

Meh, I didn't like it that much, but I was pretty trashed when I watched it.

Just saw Assasination of Jesse James which was suprisingly good. About to start the 17 hour epic Berlin Alexanderplatz.

Recently watched My Left Foot for the first time. DDL has long been in my top 3 but that was just a rediculous performance. Not even really comparable to other amazing performances, like Arnie Grape.

Yea he's unbelievable, we talked about, in the DDL thread in OT, how he stayed in character the whole production. Noone liked him, seeing they had to carry him to the toilet.
He broke a rib(maybe more) from staying in that slumped over position the whole time.

My cousins lived on the same street as Christy Brown, but I should probably save that for the famous people thread.

other than Willem Dafoe in drag this movie is great

one of my personal favorites

Last night watched I Am Legend and then Sweeney Todd

Sweeney Todd was not what I expected and I have to say I was pretty disappointed. The songs were good, but the movie sucked.

Watched Hard Candy last night, I was very impressed, would recommend.
Jadaki
Southland Tales = wow what a fucked up movie, I need to watch it while tripping.
Lucky You = It was on HBO yesterday, it could have been so much better than what it ended up being.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford = Pretty good overall, little slow and drags on a bit longer than it needed to. Some better editing would have made this a great film.

The last 2 movies I saw...21 and the Number 23..

Last night my brother made me watch Loose Change- Final Cut.
Jesus, what a steaming pile of bullshit.

The last good move I watched was Shaun of the Dead.

Pulp Fiction. It's one of my all-time fav's and I watch it about once a month or so.

The fiance and I were bored and not at all tired after the Minnesota Wild OT victory last night so we decided to go see a flick and saw Street Kings. It was very gritty and I enjoyed it alot. With the exception of the gang banger wanna be in a our theater that was talking at the movie the whole time when drugs and guns were on the screen it was good times. I would recommend the movie to others if you enjoyed watching Training Day. It was done by the same guy and has the same feel, just not as good.
rocketpoker828
Watched Atonement last night, it was pretty good.

No Country For Old Men, last night.

Into the Wild, just now.

Thinking of watching American Gangster tonight. The wife's a big Denzel fan. Anyone who's seen it got a positive or negative review for me??
Franchise632
I enjoyed the flick. Kind of slow in spots and if you aren't one that can sit through long movies then this may not be your kind of thing. Can't much go wrong with Crowe and Denzel.

Horton Hears a Who..... Awesome

I saw The Ruins this weekend. What a piece of crap!!

I read the book last summer and it was really good. So of course I go see the movie. HORRIBLE

It's enjoyable and worth watching. Not quite as epic as it is made out to be, but as long as you aren't expecting the next Godfather you should like it.

Why wouldn't I just watch Training Day again then?
