Yeah, definitely been there too. Impossible to toss it at .02/.05 tho.. Whats worse is holding like KK88 or KKK8 in studhi on a horse table and you check the river (obv) and they bet at you with their raggedy board.

And you realize there's like a 5% chance they hit their hand.. and a 0% chance they think you are folding/they are bluffing... Worst feeling in the world.. plus you are always getting like 8-1 or better.

Depends on Villain, tbh.. If he's capable of firing at that flop without an 8, then I'd call him down in a heartbeat.. With a Q in your hand someone else would need to have either the case QQ or an 8 to beat you.

It's rarely ever a good thing in o8b to be in a spot where an opponent only needs *1* card out of their hand to beat you, especially if you are the one doing the calling. And it's also hard to call off 2.5 big bets where you are pretty much drawing dead if he's got what he's repping. I'd probably let it go in a 4-way pot.

I use this one. -- Just remember to make the format "FCP", or it'll give you like 50 imgs, and you wont be able to paste it into a post.

Hmm.. I either raise this PF, or fold it from that early a position. If the table has been playing fairly tightly (that's right around the blind level sweet spot where tables magically start behaving more).. i'll raise. Also depends on my stack size.. I def would strongly consider folding this PF at this stage of the tourney. The QQ kinda ruins your hand, as AQ is a horrible straight draw and A3 is going to need a flop to win the low *unless* you can get it HU or 3-way before the flop comes. It's just too easy to have the worst low with most flops and you don't exactly have "knock it out of the park" high potential. Even if the flop is Axx, you're going to have a devil of a time making 2 pair to win high. Essentially your hand is fun only if you flop a duece, a queen, or a couple clubs. A3QQ is tricky because it's too good to bluff with and too weak to value bet in midstages of tourneys.

If you raise it up PF and get it HU, I may even fire at this flop.. I'd probably flip a coin tbh..

If you are fairly deepstacked, i don't mind the limp, but I doubt it's +EV in the long run. Without a doubt I bail that flop 5-way.. you'd have to call (best case scenario) 1 small bet and 2 big bets to a. ) make a low, and b. ) find out if it's the best low. You'd be drawing weakly, and only at 1/2 the pot.. easy fold in a 5-way pot. Put a club on that flop and you can make a weak argument for seeing the turn, but even then you'd really want A2 for 2 backdoor nut draws.

im thinking about this hand because if you had a read that the villain did things like this you might be able to raise this river. ive noticed a tendency in players who over play hands like that to pay more attention to straight and flush hands than paired up type hands. that is that they are afraid of straights and flushes when they don't have them and go to town when they do. your average player who will put in that much with a queen high flush on that turn will not do it with two pair or a set.

anybody else notice this or just me?

after I capped the turn and he still led out on me on the river I couldn't pull the trigger there. He's so off the wall if I raise and he 3 bets it again can I fold here? meh....... I don't know what I think. I have been selectively agg. (read in position), but I still don't see how he can take this line with that hand. If he checks I'm def value betting that river as well BTW. What sux with him being so out there if he check raises me on the end I'm paying him off too.
