this is an example of a hand where i am happy to get my money in bad. i get myself in on the bad side of a lot of 60/40 type hands. imo if you aren't you aren't pushing enough thin edges on the turn.


i think i played this hand perfectly.

go play with some twodimes numbers if you don't believe me.

my opponent is a loose spew tard who could easily have a 23xx on the flop.

so i put that at the low end of his range. i also eliminate 23xx with a flush draw becouse he would have gotten it all in with me.

hows my equity look against his range on the turn?

Hey littlebullet do you play 6 handed .25/.50 limit also on FTP. I've been noticing your screen name a lot at the tables. My sn on ftp is also king_tanner. Just recently started playing in the last couple months. Damn I love this game lol.

I've been called a donk in the chat a lot though, so I have a lot to learn.

There is a local 4/8 limit game close to my house that has a bunch of loose old guys, and is an easy game to beat. Online though the play is much better everytime I step up, so I've been just playing the cheap games.

I took like a half year long break since running putrid at 2/4 at AP. Just started up again at Tilt it's been about a week and I'm getting destroyed again. There are a ton of fish that play 1/2, 2/4 but I've lost like 800$ since I started through 8000 or so hands. On FT I've noticed 1 on 1 pot limit is so juicy so far I've run into 2 maniacs and 1 guy who was sitting at the table with 10 blinds lol. Obv ran into a huge cooler nut flush vs straight flush tho so I won't play anymore 1v1 for a while and I won't be playing any more 2/4 or even 1/2 i'll be playing .50/ 1 limit for a while I don't know what to do anymore I've become tighter than a clam 20% or lower vpip and I stopped chasing naked low draws and I just can't win anything lol. I saw you one time and watched for a few mins we'll prob be seeing more of each other. Ya so I noticed anything lower than 1/2 people get nittier and the rake eats more of the pot but I have lost so much money I have to drop down... see you at the tables and post hands and stuff this place is so dead.

So this is the first hand you posted. I'm still kind of beginning at the game so my thoughts might sound donkish, not sure.

But since the villain is raising you post flop aren't you putting him on a possible A2 or boat? So maybe slow down and not 3 bet the flop and turn and maybe check river. Or did you have some kind of read on the villain which made the 3-betting make sense? Definitely unlucky on the river.
