Villain must think he's playing stud. That's just dumb.
DWMREP
He either thinks it's the wrong game or has you beat on the river. I hope you didn't cap.

the villain is likely ahead of you on all streets. that is why he capped. think of 6th like 2-7. would you pat a queen on the last draw?

5th st. paired villain, so Hero is ahead here. 6th st. paired again, Hero is ahead.... but Hero has J7 lo on 7th st.

We're likely beat until 5th st. Not sure why you're capping 3rd and 4th st.

I think you need to c/c 7th.

villain is unmade, but he is also ahead if he has a wheel draw. assuming he had one, he played it well.

Yes on 5th, but once villan misses on 6th he's no longer a fav to make his wheel or even a 6 draw. However he does not need to make a 6 to win (yet) since hero is playing a Q his draw is probably still ahead. So villan should be jamming. Gutsy though.

Giving villan 3 to a 6 to start, on 6th St:

FlopTurnRiver.com -r 5s 7h 3h 4s Qh Qc - 4c 2c 4d 4h 3s 6h / Ac 5c Tc 3d 9d
Razz (7-card Stud A-5 Low): 1190 enumerated outcomes
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
5s 4s Qc Qh 7h 3h 637 53.53 553 46.47 0 0.00 0.535
3s 4c 2c 4d 6h 4h 553 46.47 637 53.53 0 0.00 0.465

And on the river:

FlopTurnRiver.com -r 5s 7h 3h 4s Qh Qc Jc - 4c 2c 4d 4h 3s 6h / Ac 5c Tc 3d 9d
Razz (7-card Stud A-5 Low): 34 enumerated outcomes
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
5s 4s Qc Jc Qh 7h 3h 13 38.24 21 61.76 0 0.00 0.382
3s 4c 2c 4d 6h 4h 21 61.76 13 38.24 0 0.00 0.618

So ya, villan has soooo many cards he can catch to win, he's likely ahead.

Don't think I would play it again much different except maybe slow down a bit on sixth.

I like being a bit agro here with so many counterfiets hitting the vill, but his playing me back so much was disturbing.

the point is really that you should slow down on 5th. that's where you're pretty far behind, and it took you too many bets to figure that out, i think.
