Full Version: How To Make Pokerstars Less Ugly?

I just made the switch from FTP to PS.

FTP had a lot of customization options, but PokerStars seems to be lacking...

I've seen videos on PokerSavvy and CardRunners with nice tables/backgrounds/cards, etc. Where can I get all that?

EDIT: Nevermind, PS just makes you work to find it.

Why did you switch? More players?

I like the software more. Plus, they more tournament variety.

Site just feels like it runs more solidly.

Plus they don't crash for 8 hours at a time?

not sure about pokerstars, but http://www.aintluck.com has lots of table skins for ftp and absolute. best skins you can find as a matter of fact. Pokerstars's customization is a little more advanced, and by advanced i don't necessarily mean good in terms of customization. with ftp and absolute, you can simply switch out an image to give a custom look. With pokerstars you can actually create your own table graphics set, but its not beginner friendly.

note: aintluck.com is a site I started a while back. not mine anymore, but i did make all of the poker skins on you can find on there, and i didn't do stars because they're a pain in the arse, consisting of making an entire folder of graphics for one skin set.

PS has lots of skins, and you can modify things quite a bit.

This is how I use Stars
