Full Version: Pokertracker Stats--interpreting Them And The Importance Of Position

I just bought omaha pokertracker. I looked at my won/loss based on position and am absolutely astonished. I am +$1500 overall (over 8500 tracked hands) but the only positions I am profitable from are the button and the 1 and 2 positions. From these three positions in 6-max I am +$4,000. But I am a HUGE loser from first to act (the 3 spot--I only play 6 max) at -$900 and a HUGE loser from the BB at -$1100. Does anyone have similiar data to confirm this kind of result based on position? I really need to rethink my play in the blinds to stop this leak. I often will call a raise in the BB b/c I am already invested, but obviously this is not profitable. One reason that I am so bad from the 3 spot is partly that when I want action/am tilting I will often open with a range of hands from here and this is clearly not profitable.

any other thoughts/tips about how to interpret the pokertracker data or what to look for would be appreciated.

Best thing to do would be to post a screenshot for us to take a look at. It's hard to speak in general terms about these things. A lot of the answers depend on your personal style of play.
