Main questionable street imo is the flop and between checking behind/C-betting, our hand has quite a lot of showdown value against his range, but i would feel like i could be folding the best hand a lot if he lead the turn (he's failry donk-aggro). Stack sizes make this pretty tricky.

Tough spot both because of the stack sizes and the texture of the flop. It's right in the wheelhouse of a hand that might have called a raise (AQ, AK, KQ, JQ, KJ, QQ). Unless he's holding another AJ or something like AT/JT, there aren't too many hands in his calling range that he'd likely fold to a CB. He may even float the flop with a med-pp.

Because of the texture of the flop and your stack size, I think a good argument can be made for pulling back and not CBing here. Yes, you may be giving up the pot, but I think the chances aren't actually very good that you have the best hand here.

I think this is the right situation for a probe bet. The board isnt flushed, so you only have JT to worry about not pricing out from a draw, you would love to see another card but the board is threatening enough that you have to fold a full CB if it gets raised, and the stack sizes dictate smaller bets. Id go with 300 - 350. If youve never made a probe bet before he doesnt know if its for value, blocking or bluffing.

I've taken to dumping AJ utg at a full table, but I think that might be a bit too nitty.

EDIT: to actually answer your question. I check flop, it looks to have hit a big part of his calling range, and a free card would be great.

Villian called from the BB. His range is way wider than i think you are thinking it is. I don't mind a c-bet. I play it the same probably with his donk min-bet on the turn

I don't mind c-bet either, just saying it's not how I'd play it. And yeh, you can't fold to the awful turn bet.

I think it's a toss up between folding and raising in the first few levels when you're deep stacked, but when it gets to this stage and i have a 15-20 bet stack i don't think you can afford to pass it up.
