This person was so aggro I checked the flop to let him bet. This is the ONLY flop that I can remember him not betting on if checked to him. When he checked behind I was 100% sure he had a 9. But your right, I was going broke no matter what. Oh and to all that said why 4x? Because I knew he was calling no matter what I raised except if I bet like half my stack. And I gave him a walk probably about 65% of the time when it was folded to us in the blinds.
You didn't bet the turn..You checked..again...when you made the nut flush..
But yes, if he bet almost his whole range when checked to, I like checking the flop with the intention of C/RAI, because I don't think stacks are that deep that it would be an overbet
