Villain has taggy stats (22/12/2.3) but no specific reads beyond that. On the turn, I gave some serious thought to just giving up and checking, since villain is somewhat tight, and the only draw just hit, but I wanted to keep control and charge any one diamond hands, though I don't know how many of those he check-calls the flop with. So I am now thinking I should have checked behind.

Then, on the river, I again thought I probably have the best hand, since I didn't see him playing an over pair this way, but I am still behind any 4 and 77, and maybe he does have an over pair that was going to come alive on the turn but saw the third diamond and got scared. I also thought this could be a frustrated flush. So, these factors would lean me towards calling, but I may have a case of Zeebo-its and just not want to fold my full house.

I have been staring at this hand and reading it and reading it over and over. I think he might have like an A7s or have the flush. Reasons i think this is if he has an overpair, I think he would have to raise at least flop to see if hands like 99-JJ are good, which he didn't do. If he did have 77 I think he would raise the flop to see if you actually had diamonds or an over pair and hope to get all the money in the pot then. I could put him on a hand such as 66 or 55. Reason is on the flop he has the straight draw and might put you on two big cards and thinks his hand is going to beat the AK that he puts you on. I would think about it for a while and call though b/c I think your holding the best hand

Zeebo theorem says that full houses are not folded. So when last 4 hit the board it probably filled up villain and now he bets.

Question is what kind of FH does he have?

It's very rare that 77 or 99 is played this way. 77 would raise on turn and 99 should raise also somewhere (PF, flop). If villain is passive enough I may find a fold but stats don't support it (maybe problem with sample size?). Add in the possibilities of A highs and flushes then you've got clear call.

Never, ever fold this. You hand is good way too often, his very weird line nonwithstanding. 77 and 5s4s raise the flop or the turn, 99+ likely 3-bet preflop.

That said, if I were the villain, you'd lose, because the one hand that I would play like this would be 6d5d.

you have a full house and the only time he has a better hand is with a higher overpair (in which villain would have to not raise you with 9s+ preflop and then play it super passively), a set of 7s on the flop and played it passively, or quads. snapcall, he probably has an ace or some shenanigans.

Ok, so the river is fine; I suspected that at the time and called pretty quickly, but just wanted to make sure that I didn't react too quickly.

How about the turn? Should I have checked behind?

I would've. The board paired, a flush completed, and someone could've held a straight on the flop.
