So I just subscribed to netflix. I got the two at a time, unlimited plan.

I have a question. When I first signed up, there was something that said you can download a movie right to your computer and you can watch it 30 seconds later. How do you do this? I'm bored on Sunday and want to watch movies.



I thought this thread can be one where if somebody thinks of a good movie or just just saw a good movie (that has already been out on DVD) they can recommend it.

Anyone have any recommendations for me. I was thinking of trying out the Bourne movies. Everybody seems to like them and because I like 24, a couple of people have suggested it to me.

So if anyone cares: For my first two DVDs, I got season 1 of Entourage-fuc king great show. I watched all 8 episodes of the first season and wanted the rest. Luckily my friends had the other seasons on DVD and I just finished watching season 2 and 3. When doest season 4 come out on DVD, or is it already out?

I also got Good Luck Chuck-which sucked. I like Dane's standup but his movies are not too good.


And I got Double Take which I recommend to everybody. It is an action/comedy movie starring Orlando Jones and Eddie Griffin. It is very funny.

What do people think of Crash?

I just saw it tonight and I thought it was fantastic. The cast was good, but the stories made the movie great.

I thought it sucked hard and was overly dramatic and obvious, to be honest.


See Magnolia though if you liked Crash, it's similar to Crash except amazing.

for me right now I am watching the wire. Trying to figure out what series I am going to watch next. I am thinking about watching lost. However I want to watch another hbo series.

I've heard that the wire can be a little difficult to get into at first and it might take up to season 2 before you get hooked to the series. Was this true with you?

I am on the second season right now and I think it is opposite. I really liked the first season. Aint gonna lie kept getting confused of who was who. But the second season I just don't like the way some of the characters have gone. But it is still entertaining.

If you watch Lost, just bear with it through parts of seasons 2 and 3...because season 5 makes it one of the best shows, possibly ever. It's sooooo worth it right now. And you have about 18 months to catch up, since next season is the last one.

I just finished watching Dexter season 1 and that was pretty good. I moved season 2 to the top of my queue.

Interesting article, IIRC, Netflix is one of those companies with no structured vacation time. The idea being "As long as your work is taken care of, feel free to take as long as you like."

Those types of companies usually average fewer vacation hours per employee than traditional companies.

I tend to be WAY behind on many TV Series. What I've been doing lately is watching an entire series from the beginning season. It is better than trying to watch reruns and piece together an older series. We started this a while back with House. I never watched 24 and am thinking of starting with the first season of that.
