1979 semi's game 4 Toronto vs Montreal

Habs were up 4-0 Leafs come back to tie it only to lose in OT. Tiger Williams takes a high sticking penalty agianst Larry Robinson in OT goes absolutley crazy. Big Bird of course scores the OT winner, Williams comes out of the box and tries chasing down the ref Maloney holds him back, ref beelines it to the dressing room and who comes over to calm down Tiger, Larry Robinson. Classy guy.

Things of note in the game

-Salming only player with a visor (ironic how he gets cut up for 100 stitches later in his career by Gerard Gallant)

-Doug Jarvis and Mark Napier were both injured when the camera was on them the announcer says "Doug Jarvis from Brantford Ontario made that town famous, Wayne Gretzky is also from there"

-After each goal the whole bench came on the ice to celebrate I never remembered that?

-Roger Neilson was 0-16 against Montreal in his career up to that game 0-17 after

-Ken Dryden rarely freezes the puck cool as cucumber great to watch him

-Palmateer was in the hospital he got injured in the prior game the night before also montreal OT
win

-Back to back nights Salming played 70 minutes total (ya I know he had some aid)

-Rocky Sagniuk best name in hockey

Does anyone remember the whole bench coming out after every goal. Was this just for the playoffs?

Serge is correct. The Leafs last won in 1967 and I was born April 1968.
