Here's what I dislike about televised poker - I don't want to see everyone's hands.
It's so easy to watch poker on tv and think you're so smart because when you can see the other players' cards decisions are easy. Why can't they focus on one player for an episode and just show from their POV. Have any shows done this?
A great idea would be a dvd with multiple tracks where you could select your player and follow the game as they see it.

If they did that, some people would realize how hard poker is and we could lose a fair number of the fish population though.
I like seeing everyone's hands so I can try to figure out what they are thinking and appreciate the great moves that they make on each other. Just my opinion though.

true about losing the fish... but it would be a great DVD bonus feature or something

Probably, but they'd have to choose hands that weren't shown in the original broadcast because we might remember what the opponents were holding in that case.

Celebrity Poker Showdown does one hand like that per episode. "How Would You Play It?"

Can't stand Celebrity Poker Showdown. Barely consider it poker.

That would be pretty neat to have a DVD of a tourney final table or something not shown on TV, where you can watch the game from the "eyes"/POV of each of the players at the table. That is not really what the poker-watching population as a whole desires though, so it probably won't happen in the near future...

its an ok idea but if you only saw one hand and your player is tight laying down a lot of hands u wouldn't no what happended. It would be hard to follow.

I think it would be better if they didn't show the hands. I believe it would help improve everyone's game more.

It would also help the rating plummet

On the show from 12am to 2 am they should not show the hands on the WPT.
