i had this sick feeling that i knew that i was beat when he raised me, due to only seeing him put money in post flop with good hands. I probably should have explained it better in my description of villian, but i just didn't know if it would be stupid to fold top pair like this. Like you said, i'm playing with scared money and a limited bankroll, I'm gonna make donk decisions like this. But considering all the factors (live 1-2, TPTK, etc, ) i just can't help but think that i could have dumped my hand after the 1st raise, and if this was even silly to think about doing. Its easy to see other worse players stack off with one pair, but i guess when it happens to me, i think about the angles and if there was a way i could avoid it. I also think the fact that i'm playing bad, getting unlucky, and down 4 buy ins is affecting my judgement.

I may only have one opportunity (one stack) to make the right decision and go with it, but I will try. I thought about you guys on the last shove with AK, so the next time it works I will think about you guys again

Can I just say that when I lived in Phoenix, probably 50% of the people I worked with were from NY / NJ. They have an ENTIRELY different communication style than Midwesterners. AINEC.

Whereas someone from the Midwest will say, "Maybe wasn't the smartest thing to do," someone from the coast will say, "Jesus, that was ****ing stupid, what are you, a moron? Don't do that no more."

Both people will hold you in equal esteem.

1 thing that caught my eye was some talk about east coast vs west coast.

Not sure if acid was saying that west coast players are easier, but from my experience. and I've heard pro's talk about the same thing,

out west (vegas, LA) the players are way more aggressive. way more Loose.

Its to the point that its noticeable.

ok, first of all, this thread tilts me, so I'm not replying about poker.
