Villain is 64/9/3 over 44 hands.

1) What is villain's likely range,
2) What should hero's shoving range be?

Just to give you a hand with analysis, if we have 0% fold equity we need about 40% showdown equity against his range to shove.

His range is probably something like QQ+, maybe AK. He just doesn't raise often and plays sooooo many hands that this is almost always a big hand. However, if I have been lagging it up I change his range significantly to just being annoyed and add a bunch of crap in there. If that isn't the case I thnk QQ+ is his range at a 9raise pf, because I'd be willing to bet his 3bet is much much lower than that.

I think our shoving range is something like AK, JJ+.

I think it depends on his min-raising range. I would try to figure out what he generally would 4-bet min-raise with. If I've seen him do it with a wide range then I'm going with 1010+, AK, shoving.

You are right, but I've seen just 44 hands of his. There aren't many examples of him mini 4-betting and showing down a hand in that sample.

I'd been surprisingly quiet at this table, other than getting it in with 88 vs AA preflop for $35 (I 3-bet a LAG's button raise from the SB and called an overbet shove). I had only seen one other showdown while villain was at the table, when I checked down A8 on a dry board in position.

I doubt this guy was paying attention to anything but his own cards, and enjoying using the call button.

Ok, I'll be more specific. I think JJ is a snap fold.

What do we do with QQ here, and with AK?

FWIW I had QQ and folded after using a bit of timebank.

This is correct. His range is KK/AA and that's it... he doesn't want you to go away and he almost never raises. Calling Station raise and re-raise = huge, no matter the size.

edt: wait, he raised over top of two? lol... even easier fold

His range is larger than this. Retards dont always know how their starting hand value changes in the presence of raises and reraises. Theres at least some chance he has QQ or AK here plus the random crazy donk play. That said I dont know if he has those hands enough to ship with QQ.

r u serious?

You don't need a large sample size to know this is a station with those stats.

I might give him JJ+ and AK if he cold called...
tskillz187
Your sample is only 44 hands, and he's playing 64% of them. That definitively tells me that he's a huge donk, but it doesn't convince me that he's completely passive all the time. Not enough hands have gone by, I'm not laying down QQ here without having seen some proof of his retarded tightness with 3 bets.

Basically when I'm playing against someone horrible. stats be damned I'm getting QQ in against them because I think they will do random retarded shit sometimes and I need to take advantage of it.
