Might be taking a trip down to the local Casino Aztar this weekend to play a little. They have been encouraging players to put up lists of interest for games. The only omaha game they spread there is a 2-5 PLO with $500 minimum buy in. I'd like to try starting a list possibly for us lower bankrolled players, possibly a 2/4 or 3/6 limit game. The problem is that I'm a little short stacked for a poker trip -around $100-. Would the 3/6 game be a little bit of a gamble for me with my stack or should I stick with something more comfortable (2/4)? The only limit holdem game they spread are 3/6 or 5/10. I'd figure more people would sign up for a 3/6 omaha game and if the play is anything like the 3/6 holdem game I figure it would be a donkfest and make a little dough. Would starting with 33 bets playing omaha be a squeeze or considering the level of play acceptable? Also, any little hints about how to differ my strategy from limit omaha to PLO would be great. Thanks,

i played some 4/8 limit holdem/ limit omaha hi mix in new orleans a few months ago. it was an accident, i heard omaha and figured it would be omaha8. who the hell plays limit omaha hi? well, these people did. this was a regular game that it seemed like several of them play everyday ("omaha8" they said "thats on fridays. friday is omaha8 day.)but they all sucked at it anyway.
my stategy was just to play really tight and not lose any money during the omaha round because they were that bad at lhe.
$100 is short for 2/4 holdem, never mind about this game.
