Hero: a billion (around $2,500)
Villain1: $75
Villain2: $650

Villain1 is ready to go home.

Villain2 is a grumpy loose cannon. He doesn't have a style or strategy, he just tries to do something and see if he looks smart.

ACTION
Hero catches Ac As UTG. Opens for $12
Villain1: calls
Villain2: calls
Couple other random calls along the way.

Flop (about $50 in the pot)
Qc Jh Th

Villain1 shoves
Villain2 calls.

Turn ($275 or so in pot): Jd
Hero bets $150 into side pot.
Villain2 calls

River: Qh

Hero?

The KK in the other post, BTW, is the only KK I got dealt in 24 hours.

i'm trying to think of something villain called you down here with that you beat by the river. Kx is all I see.
i'm trying to think of a hand villain has that's ahead of you that would fold to a bet. given villain's description, i don't think he even folds AK.
NoBBiR
I think I'd just check/fold'er. If he has just a king, I can't see him taking a big stab at it so you're likely to get it checked down anyway. I can't really imagine much that you're ever going to be ahead of but a busto'd draw. Just check and pray he had K10 or something.
Temporary Nuts
Such a gross check-fold sad.gif

OK. So here's what I did. I thought MAYBE he flopped AQ. He got a goofy look on his face when the board paired on the turn and I bet. So I bet the river: $200. He thinks for 2 minutes and mucks. Other villain has 99. I scoop main and side. Villain claims to have thrown away AK. I dunno. You would think he'd pressure that flop and definitely the turn, but he passive-tarded his way into the muck with the best hand.

Is the dude on crack? He like passivetarded himself to death if he really had AK.

Quite possible.
Seriously.
Anyway. I don't think he had AK. I really don't.
Sheiky
Disgusting, eugh, check fold? I can't see anything else to do even though it sucks bad.
BuffDan
The thing is, all we did was get him to fold when we had the best hand (probably, I mean he could have had AK) , so I don't know what we gained by betting here, unless it was a blocker.
Royal_Tour
you are way to LAGTARD IMO.

not just from this hand, but if you have 2500 @ 1,2 NL.. unless its a bigger buy in. You either had to have a siiick disgusting run of cards, or you're just c/raising all in with flush draws and mediocre hands and getting there

I have only seen like 3 people, in all of my playing in canada, vegas, and australia who have been sitting at a 1/2 table with close to 2500.

2 were insane luckboxes. (1 the table told me, the other the player himself told me he flopped the nuts like 8 times) and other i dont know, I wasnt at his table

I've seen people go on heaters and have like 1-1.1k on a 1/2 nl table before, plus he said this was a 24 hour session, so I'm assuming if you just run really good with the combination of being a maniac lag, you can win a lot of money. lol.

i know a few really really talented players who do 20 hour sessions. Its very rare to run up anything over 6 buyins at fullring. let alone 14.

although, a trend i noticed. In australia, they're were a lot of die hard degens and the games were short buy ins. (2-3NL with max 200)

it was just super super fishy and overly aggro.

OK, stop running me down, I'm really proud of this game. I ran this up to almost $4K and cashed out $3500 when I got hit for $400 on a gutterball river that hit the sucker straight over my set of twos, and then watched four to a flush hit on my flopped straight for what I was planning to be the last couple hands of a 24 hour session.

During the entire 24 hour session, I don't recall ever having all of my chips in, and I never doubled up through anyone.
I rarely hit better than two pair -- a couple straights and a couple flushes. This stack was was grinding hard and fast. I don't recall ever really gambling on much, just knowing where I was and acting accordingly.

I didn't hit big hands. I had AA this one time. I had KK one time and had to fold them. (And I was right -- see other post). I hit two sets during the entire session -- neither of them were good. The twos mentioned above, and I flopped 555QQ and got a call from QQQA5 and watched him river an ace to overboat my fives full for a $450 pot.

Yeah, there was crazy action, but I managed this table like a champion -- as well as any table or any player I'd ever seen. Again. Proud of this game.

Yes, I play very fast and loose and since this is a small town (relatively speaking), I have a target on my back 10 feet wide. When I sit, I know about 8 of the ten players, and they all know me. I am LAG. Ultra-LAG. No doubt. That's what makes me laugh when people in this forum call me a nit.

My last seven cashes in this $1/$2 game are:

- 500 4 hours
+1500 6 hours
+1500 12 hours
- 1000 4 hours
+3500 24 hours
- 500 9 hours (tonight -- a very ugly night)

Maybe it's a little swingy for some of you, but it suits me.

I had $2900 in a 1/2 game at turning stone before. Of course, I am a lagtard. I think most of it worked up when I won a $2500ish pot against a kid where he had QQ and I had 77 on the 97662 board. I don't have any clue how he gave me all of his money, but yeah, it's possible.

I also hate your flop and turn and river bets. smile.gif

Nice hand.

LOL

Yeah ... well ... you know ... Some people run good by hitting big hands.
I run good by getting people to do what I want them to.

Why?

Why?

Why?

Why can't I ever make a hand against the people at turningstone for them to give me their money? It's always vise versa.

"Oh, you have top set? Well son, I have a straight."
"Haha, flopped the Jack high flush? I flopped the nut flush."
"I see that top two, but my bottom set is just dying for you to brick."
"Pocket Aces? Hahaha, I knew I'd out flop ya with 69o. YEAH, BOTTOM TWO!"

AND I NEVER SUCK OUT ON ANYONE ELSE, KILL ME PLZ.
