Anyway, I'm getting married in September, and my fiance's little sister (sophomore in high school) said she knows two friends that could sing at our wedding, and that they were really awesome. Well, I'm not expecting much, but I say what the hell, I'll give it a shot. I listen to these kids sing, and I'm literally knocked off my feet. They are simply amazing. This occured quite a few months ago. Shortly after this happened, the guy (there was a guy and a girl) tried out for American Idol in San Diego. He came home, and started telling everyone he made the top 24. Now, I thought he sounded good, but that's pretty unbelievable.
I watched the show last night with my fiance, and I'll be damned if he didn't make the top 24. Problem is, even though he made the top 24, he was on the show about a total of 30 seconds, if that. IMO, he doesn't stand as much of a chance as the other contestants getting tons of TV time. SO, if you watch the show, or don't and are bored, vote for Garrett Haley.
I wonder if he'll still do my wedding for the $25 I was gonna give him? Should have gotten a contract.
