Pretty standard call with position imo.

Some draws? We have from Q to 5.

I push.

Um, no.......we can't count the spades as real outs so thats 5 spade cards in that span of Q-5 with the two on board and the single in your hand. We could even make our hand and still be behind with a turn/river spade.

I call and see a turn since you have position and hopefully get a BB check to our call so we could get a possibility of a free card if we miss.

We have 13 straight outs if you count out the spade although he can easily have top two or a set which gives us the spades as well.

I think calling in position is a good play too. But i like my chances with this huge draw + the fold equity. I have seen many flop check/min raisers who folds to a repot.

We are only ****ed real good if he has something like QT9 with spades.

This is from a while ago... but what would you think about calling the minraise and then using a spade as a scare card even if you don't make your straight if it becomes apparent that the BB doesnt have a flush.

Seems like a pretty good line as well. You won't follow the same line with the similiar hands everytime anyway. You ll mix it up by playing it differently from time to time.
