Is my preflop raise too small? How were my bet sizes on the rest of the streets?

What would be the correct play here?

UTG checks, Hero bets $4, UTG calls $4.

$1 is ok, but I'd be more likely to make it $1.25, preflop.

With a limper I would usually make it 1.25 but I don't think 1 is bad either.

I like the flop bet. The turn might be a little small, I probably make it 4.50-5.00. I don't see any reason to believe we don't have the best hand on the turn.

River is gross but it's hard to put OP on a 7, so I probably pay it off. I guess 77 and 88 would be in his range but I think you have the best hand often enough to make the call.

What part does villain's stack size play here? Any at all? I think his river bet leaves $3 behind.

I ended up laying this hand down... I just couldn't put him on a hand that I could beat

Villian was playing pretty tight overall, and I figured I must have been beat here Just couldn't see how he could check/call two bets then fire big on the river

JJ+ is unlikely given the way it was played...I put him on a weak 9 like 98s..or pocket 5s or 6s
