This was on cardplayer a little while back:
WPT Will Join High Stakes Poker as Part of Monday Casino Night in 2008
GSN, the network for games, became perhaps the leading network dedicated to poker this week when it came to terms with World Poker Tour Enterprises to air the sixth - and possible many more - seasons of the World Poker Tour.
Starting in January of 2008, the WPT will be packaged with High Stakes Poker on Monday nights as part of the network's casino night.
but now when I go to both websites they mention not one iota about each other or this supposed deal.
anyone know what's up? Obviously didn't happen in January!

I saw an ad on GSN that the WPT will start airing a new season in March.

Does a new season of High Stakes Poker start up in March too? I haven't been paying attention and don't even know if they've filmed a 5th season at all yet.

No. They haven't even filmed it yet.
Poker on TV always lists the upcoming shows.

Thanks. Does anybody know when they are planning to start the filming for the next show or if that is even on the schedule yet at all?

There's a rumor it'll be filmed in April or May.

Latest report from an insider is that they have not scheduled the filming of a 5th season at this time. It's up to GSN whether they do so.

I hope they do film a 5th season of High Stakes Poker. I'd like to see some new episodes of HSP and the WPT back-to-back. They are two of my favorite poker shows to watch on TV.

I'd be shocked if they don't. I was under the impression that HSP has been a tremendous success.

It's the ONLY reason I upgraded my cable package -- so I could get GSN and watch HSP. They'd better film another season -- I've pretty much memorized the first four!

They cut GSN from my cable line-up for some reason like a year ago; I just watch HSP on Youtube now, which is better than nothing.

I don't get GSN, so can somebody tell me how good the production of the WPT is on this channel so I will know if it is worth finding them online from this point forward?

Is that chick a new hostess of the show? I haven't been keeping up to date with these things.
When GSN did the Aruba Classic a while back, I didn't really like the production. Is it better, or about the same?
